Shrimp Cocktail Supreme

Ingredients

6-8cups of water
a few onion skins
1/2 lemonleftover from cocktail sauce
1teaspoon whole peppercorn
1teaspoon paprika
1teaspoon garlic powder
1teaspoon coriander seeds or powder
pinch of cayenne powder
1 bay leaf
a few celery leaves
1pound raw shrimpprefer Argentinian colossal

Instructions

In a large pot, place all the ingredients and bring to a low boil for 5 minutes. Add in the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes till firm. Remove the shrimp and place on a tray to cool.

Recipe Notes

COCKTAIL SAUCE – ½ cup ketchup zest and juice from ½ a lemon (see above) + a few dashes of hot sauce + a few dashes of Worcestershire sauce + 2 tablespoons horseradish sauce (or to taste) + 1 tablespoon dill, finely chopped + 1 green onion, chopped Mix everything in a bowl. Taste and adjust seasonings.
