At Maison Maitland we can provide that unique setting for your employees, clients or Board. Give them an inspiring day to create, debate and have some fun. Choose from a meeting day with a mini “team building” lunch component or go for the competitive edge and get the team in an Iron Chef Competition or Group Cooking Class. Whatever suits, we have you covered! Our VILLA accommodations are also available for out-of-town employees, clients or Board members.

Meeting Package + Group Lunch 

Meeting Space: Looking for a more inspiring environment to hold your meetings?
Our formal Dining Room in the Maison can seat up to 16 people for a spacious workspace. Combined with the Living Room and Family Room there is also an opportunity for break-out sessions. We can configure to suit your needs. Your “Meeting time” can be built as you see fit. Available pre or post lunch, or both (from 9am to 4pm). If the weather is good, our beautiful Courtyard is also available. Take the time you need to have a fun and productive day!

Cooking Class Lunch: Our signature “hands-on” cooking class is shortened to get the best lunch on your table sooner than later, so you can get back to business! As a group, you will divide into teams and create dishes for your lunch as part of a two-course lunch. Various menu themes are available and will be customized to your group. After the cooking is over, enjoy your group lunch in the Dining Room or Courtyard. (Duration: 11am to 1pm. approximately)

  • Welcome Coffee & Tea  + Fresh Baked Croissants
  • Hands-on mini cooking class

  • Lunch in the Dining Room or Courtyard (weather dependent)

  • All drinks for the day (non-alcoholic)

Iron Chef Afternoon Competition + Reception

For groups with a competitive edge, we offer a fun take on the iconic Iron Chef battle. Your team will work in groups (size of teams depends on number of people). We kick it off with an icebreaker and then each team will prepare small dish recipes together (with limited instruction), for presentation and sharing with the entire team. Icebreaker opener, surprise pantry, prizes for best dishes, are just some of the great ingredients that make for a fun event.

What’s included:

  • Hands-on cooking competition
  • Reception in the Dining Room or Courtyard
  • Complimentary sampling of local wine and beer during reception, following competition
  • Prizes for best dish, awarded to one team
  • Maison Maitland folder with recipes
  • Non- alcoholic beverages for the afternoon

Half-Day Group Cooking Class

This is our full Signature “hands-on” muti-course cooking class. A fun day away from the office for everyone. Arrival is 10am at Maison Maitland. Ideal for small groups. Choose from a variety of COOKING THEMES for your group’s class. Your morning will start with coffee or tea in the sunny Dining Room where Cynthia will review the menu and the day’s activities. Your group will be divided into pairs to cook for this hands-on class. Following your cooking class, lunch will be enjoyed together in the Dining Room or Courtyard with a sampling of local wines and drinks. Students will learn about the region, its food & wine and the stories behind the menu they will be creating together.

What’s included:

  • Hands-on cooking class with customized menu
  • Lunch in the Dining Room or Courtyard (and usually leftovers to take home!)
  • Complimentary sampling of local wine with lunch
  • Maison Maitland folder with recipes for every participant
