Elopements at Maison Maitland
We have been asked numerous times about weddings at Maison Maitland. In keeping with our intimate and unique approach to experiences, we are pleased to offer, staring Summer 2024, what is becoming one of the most popular choices for couples today, Elopement Weddings. Our wedding partners are also able to offer Vow Renewals as well. We have teamed up with a very special wedding planner to offer a combined ceremony, celebration with our accommodations package.
It’s your European inspired destination wedding, without getting on a plane!
Maison Maitland’s exudes European elegance on its 5 acre property overlooking the St. Lawrence River. It couldn’t be a more perfect place for your special day. Whether it’s the first time you’ll say yes, or the second, celebrate your love at one of the most beautiful, intimate places in Eastern Ontario.
What do you need to bring?
- you and your partner -” two people in love”
- a wedding planner for all the necessary and special touches you’ll need – like an officiant, photographer, flowers, etc. (see our Preferred Wedding Planners below, separate fees apply and are booked directly with the Wedding Planner)
- two witnesses (your besties) or this is sometimes included with the Wedding Planner’s ceremony package.
- Two night’s accommodations in one of our villas (2 king bedrooms) with 2 full bathrooms (1100 to 1500 square feet holiday villas on the property) with large main living areas and chef kitchens. For up to 4 people.
- Bonjour Breakfast basket each morning, up to 4 people.
- Photo staging/ceremony site outdoors – on our front park Waterview Pavilion and front of house staircase (seasonal), available to book for up to 3 hours, afternoon options and/or photo staging/ceremony site in the main Maison’s elegant living room with fireplace and period antiques (1 hour, anytime between 4-6pm).
- Special Celebration Charcuterie Board for up to 4 people in your Villa on arrival or post ceremony.
Maison Maitland’s Stay Package: $1450 + tax
*Note: if this is just for the two of you, a Concierge credit of $50 can be applied to any of our additional in-house food services.

This is an adult only destination. All your guests must be staying as a guest in the Villas. Maximum number of guests including yourselves is 8. See full terms and conditions. Note: Your Wedding Planner is your main onsite point person for your special day. We are pleased to assist with any accommodation related requests.
